Ria Kraft (née Mulherkar) received her MD from the Drexel University College of Medicine and completed residency in radiation oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She now practices as a radiation oncologist in Pennington, NJ.

She is passionate about medical education and has launched multiple platforms for open access medical education including the Spoonful of Sugar medical podcast and the Rad Onc Talks YouTube channel.

She is also an avid writer with training in the medical humanities. During residency, she completed the Certificate Program in Narrative Medicine at Columbia University. She has published multiple works of prose and poetry in medical humanities journals, and she is always working on a new creative writing project!
